Rev. Kate Kennedy

Kate Kennedy was ordained in May 2021 in Hillsdale, New York along with seven other women. She earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and cultural anthropology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Kate then trained and worked as a Waldorf High School Humanities teacher, where her love of The Word could further unfold. After her children were born she worked for three years administratively supporting the Christian Community at the regional level before entering the seminary training full-time in Toronto. After ordination she worked as a congregational priest in Toronto and was sent, along with Patrick, in August 2025 to found the congregation in Atlanta. Rev. Patrick Kennedy

In April of 2006, Patrick Kennedy was consecrated into the priesthood in Chicago, Illinois.  Prior to attending the seminary in Stuttgart, Germany, Patrick studied and worked in the field of early childhood education and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, in cultural anthropology.  He has worked as a priest in the congregations in Devon, Pennsylvania, and the Greater Washington, D.C., area.  Then, in Chestnut Ridge, New York, he took up the roles of both seminary director and resident priest in the local congregation. In July 2019, Patrick, his family, and the entire seminary moved to the Toronto area. Patrick was then sent, along with Kate and their two children, to found the congregation in Atlanta in August 2025. He remains a seminary co-director and is also a member of the international leadership circle.
